1. School history Established in 1979, the school was the earliest independent tourism institution in China. It was once affiliated to the former National Tourism Administration and was managed by Shanghai in 2000. In August 2003, with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Shanghai Tourism College merged with the School of City and Tourism of Shanghai Normal University to form the Tourism College of Shanghai Normal University to carry out various levels of education from junior college to master.
