IGOT-UL, Institute of Geography and Spatial Planning - Universidade de Lisboa is the leading school of geography and spatial planning in Portugal. IGOT-UL is a research-led institute, hosting the Centre for Geographical Studies (CEG), a research centre founded in 1943, currently with 124 researchers collaborating in ten research groups.
TERRITUR - Tourism, Culture and Space research group - aims to consolidate tourism studies, namely on three clusters: tourism spatial planning; culture, leisure and sociabilities; geodiversity, geotourism and geoheritage.
