What can you do with the Information List?

The ATLAS information list is primarily meant for messages to be sent from ATLAS to all her members who want to be involved with ATLAS. Furthermore this list is for discussion and information sharing between ATLAS members interested in the subjects, such as tourism, leisure, culture, education, etc. In addition the list gives you the opportunity to distribute calls for papers, announcements, information on new publications, research bids and other programs, etc.

For whom is the list meant?

The e-mail information list is meant for all the ATLAS members interested in our field. All the staff members in the member institutions who are included in our ATLAS administration with a correct e-mail address, are automatically included in the general list ATLAS-LIST@jiscmail.ac.uk, provided they have not indicated otherwise. If you are not included, bu would like to be so, please read below how to subscribe.

Policy

1. The topics of the discussion should involve ATLAS matters, i.e. education and research in tourism, leisure, and culture.
2. Membership of the list is moderated.
3. Messages are not moderated. You can send messages to all the members of the information list.
4. The list is initially meant for academic staff and researchers based in ATLAS member institutions. This list is not at present intended for use by students.

How to post your message?

If you have been subscribed as a member of the ATLAS e-mail information list you will receive messages from ATLAS-LIST@jiscmail.ac.uk. If you want to post a new message, simply send it to ATLAS-LIST@jiscmail.ac.uk and it will immediately be sent to all the members.>

You can join by simply sending a blank e-mail to:

• admin@atlas-euro.org
• mentioning the text: subscribe list yourname

The e-mail address you use, should indicate the institution you work in.

If you wish, you can remove your e-mail address at any time from this information list by sending an e-mail to:

• mentioning the text: unsubscribe list 

You can also unsubscribe via the link mentioned in your welcome message from jiscmail.

How to subscribe for the different SIG lists?

ATLAS has also opened information lists for the different ATLAS Special Interest Groups (SIGs). Currently the following SIGs are active:
