| Description | The Institute of Geography has no special accommodation for exchange students, but in Baku a lots of hotels, hostels and guesthouses are available. Costa from US$ 35,- US$150,- and more per day. It is also possible to rent a two-rooms apartment - US$150,- per month. |

| Description | Research Interests of the Department of Economic and Social Geography includes a wide spectrum of fields. The researches related to geography of population, including demographics, urbanisation and migration processes; rural and urban development and planning are conducting. Economic-geographical aspects of cultivation and utilisation of natural resources, rational placing of branches of national economy as well as planning, development and further perspectives of these industries are exploring. As have been said above researches in tourism sphere conducts within the Department of Economic and Social Geography being headed by me. |
